Shot with Canon 5D MarkII on a cold January afternoon.
I’ve always enjoyed photography and since I was young I remember having access to a camera and the freedom to use it. It took me years to learn to shoot in manual. It was only after I was an adult with a digital camera where I could instantly see the effect changing the settings was having on my pictures that I was able to understand exposure and aperture. But long before I mastered camera settings, I was taking pictures I treasured.
You don’t need a fancy camera or a perfect understanding of photography to take pictures of your family. I have come to love my phone camera photos as much as I love my $3000 camera photos.
Shot with iPhone 4 on a sunny summer day and edited with Afterlight.
