Around Christmas I updated the little kitchen set that my uncle made for my older two girls when they were younger. Fresh paint, colorful fabric, and some new cookware made it so much fun. But when it was in the room she shares with her brother, I didn’t get to see as much of the cute way she plays with it.
I moved it into our already crowded dining/homeschool room. In a corner where the guinea pig used to live. There is so much light there. Not only does it make a much better spot to photograph, I also get to see more of her playing while I’m cooking supper or doing school with the kids.
Find the best light in your house and move a few toys there. Then just sit back and wait for your kids to start playing. You’ll love the images you get.
