The Logan Rambin family was selected as the 2012 Lincoln County Farm Family of the Year. The Farm Family program was started in Arkansas in 1947 as a way to recognize the importance of farming and agriculture in Arkansas. For the rest of their pictures, I joined them on their farm in Grady, where Logan works with his brother, father and five employees managing 3,150 acres of land. They produce rice, soybeans, corn and wheat, and have been farming for 11 years.
It was a pleasure to join them on the farm and see where they work, the massive equipment involved, and the crops, the fruit of their labor.
Congratulations to the Rambin family and to the other county farm family winners! You can find a list of the district winners here.
