One of my 2013 goals is to look for inspiration this year and on Fridays I’m going to share a few inspiring things from my week with you.
1. My Erin Condren planner. I got one last year with an awesome coupon for half off. This year I hemmed and hawed about spending $50 on a planner, but I loved it so much last year and was so used to format, I just decided to go ahead and did it.
Ever since it arrived I’ve been using it. Filling it with basketball games, friend dates, birthday parties, goals, dreams, and lists of books (lots of lists of books).
2. A tricked out chalkboard wall. I was flipping through my Family Fun magazine this week and got stuck on this picture. I have the perfect chalkboard wall to add a super useful shelf and that cool magnetic strip. I don’t care for the paper roll, the frames are a maybe. I am inspired to do this. Just need to get the materials.
3. The Inspired Home class. I mentioned this photography class I’m taking. We had our first lesson this week and an assignment. It is forcing {reminding} me to use my camera every day. Even on those dreary January days when I’d rather not even try.
Getting outside and finding the sun were both inspiring to me this week. That one day had to sustain me through 2 cloudy, rainy days so I’m glad I took advantage of it.
