I got an email this week from my sweet friend Edie which announced that she had written a book! I was so excited for her. Of course she will write books. Her blog is a wealth of information and inspiration. She cooks, decorates, homeschools, and reads really good books. She inspires me to try recipes (sometimes), keep on going when homeschooling gets tough, and to read better books. Check out her ebook on Hospitality it’s just $5 and it’s packed full of inspiration that will make you want to love on your family and invite all your friends over for supper.
I think I may have mentioned my friend Ruthanne a time or two. She went on an amazing weight loss journey and started running. She actually kind of loves running now which I cannot understand at all, but I’m always amazed and inspired by what she accomplishes. She makes me laugh and I love spending time with her, but I don’t do it often enough.
Last weekend I met up with a couple of dear friends for supper. These girls are always there for me to bounce ideas off of and help me with projects. We laughed and talked and then made fun of me for wearing two different earrings all night long! sheesh, what a dork! One of these friends helped me come up with the barn wood wall art above my couch in the picture at the top and insisted I buy that giant S at a yard sale and I have never regretted it. I’ve had so much fun seeing the two of them grow their businesses this year. I love surrounding myself with smart, creative women.
Speaking of ideas: I’m working on getting this years’ senior model program off the ground. I’ve got some ideas churning and things in motion and it’s going to be so much fun! Would you mind spreading the word? If you know a junior, class of 2014, who might be interested send them to my facebook page and tell them to apply! I’ll be giving you more details on it Monday.
How have your friends inspired you lately?
