Framed Friday ~ Amber’s gallery wall

August 8, 2014

amber wall

Amber had her babies’ birthday sessions around the same time so I was able to help her choose three shots that would work well together in a wall display. She send me this iPhone picture of how she arranged them on the wall. I love canvases with word prints mixed in and I especially love their sweet footprints! What a special wall this is. I hope this gives you some ideas for your next wall display.

Your new favorite photography product

August 1, 2014

framedfriday

This is not your typical framed Friday post since this product isn’t on the wall, but it’s a great alternative to people who don’t have wall space for more prints. It’s my new product the proof book.

proof books

I first offered proof books to my seniors and had such a great response that I added proof books to all my collection packages. It’s such a fun thing to do for birthday sessions and all my clients love them.

Amber Owen said, “Love these books of my babies. And they love looking at them too!”

Kyli raved about hers on Instagram (which I loved!).

Want a proof book of your own? From now till September 2014 when you order any collection package you will get a second complimentary proof book. Because they are just as much fun to share as they are to keep!

Framed Friday | Above the mantel

March 7, 2014

framedfriday

Today I wanted to share a couple of images from clients who have displayed their prints above the mantle.

The first picture shows a grouping of both framed and canvas wraps just propped on the mantle. I love the casual, layered style here and they can so easily be moved or changed up with the seasons.

Here’s a closer look.

The next mantle grouping shows one print hung and the others displayed on easels. In the design consultation I love to find out where you are planning to display your prints. That way we can find out what size you need for your space. Above Amber’s mantel the space was longer than tall. And she chose the feature image to be the one of her three children with family images on each side.

Thanks to Emily and Amber for sharing their homes with us today. I hope it gives you some inspiration to spice up your mantel with images.

Happy weekend, friends!
