A few years ago I started a photography business because I had always loved photography and I was a stay at home mom who wanted a little extra income to help out. It was such an exciting time. I got to meet new people and get to do what I loved. However, it took up a lot of time editing and preparing images for clients and it wasn’t reliable income.
Three years ago my husband and I decided it was time for me to go back to work full time and I took a teaching position at our local high school. Once again I loved my job and what I was doing, but I really missed the time freedom, setting my own hours, and the ability to make more money. Even if I worked harder I made the same amount each month. I struggled to imagine myself working in a job like that for 10 years or more.
Then, one year ago, my friend Edie Wadsworth introduced me to Young Living. I feel in love with the oils instantly and was curious about the business. I have to say that it pretty quickly became clear that this was a job I wanted to do. It offered me time freedom, unlimited income potential, the ability to do something I loved, and I could do it part time while teaching as I built my business. It was a no brainer. I had to give it a shot.
One year later I still love the business and have built a residual income that matches what I make as a teacher. If I keep working and growing at this pace I can retire in 3 years. The best part is, not only do I get to do a job I love, I get to help people find solutions for wellness, introduce them to an amazing business opportunity, and build a legacy for my family.
