My desire to pursue birth photography was born out of my desire to give mothers beautiful photographs of one of the most amazing experiences of their lives. As the family photographer whose husband rarely picks up the camera, I always felt like I was missing so much by not being able to be in charge of the camera during my four births. It would have been amazing to me to have a photographer there with me who knew what I wanted and could document that day the way I wanted it done.
